Perfluoropolyether grease easily adapts to the harsh operating conditions of air compressor bearings

Recently, Jialede You Bang Shou received an inquiry from a Shanghai customer who needed perfluoropolyether grease suitable for air compressor needle roller bearings. This customer's product requires: large bearing oscillation angles, speeds reaching 1500 rpm, and the ability to withstand heavy loads of 2000 N. Furthermore, the product is supplied to OEMs, demanding high performance stability. Regarding temperature, the instantaneous maximum temperature can reach approximately 220℃, with normal long-term operating temperatures above 100℃. Simultaneously, it must meet the requirement of low starting current at -40℃. To address these specific needs, we provided the customer with a sample of YBS-1741 perfluoropolyether grease for testing. Low-temperature performance is easily verified; simply store it at -40℃ for 8-24 hours, observe its condition, and then measure the starting current. High-temperature performance requires more patience and testing for over three months.

Our recommended YBS-1741 perfluoropolyether grease is made with highly stable perfluoropolyether oil as the base oil, thickened with polytetrafluoroethylene powder, and refined with special anti-corrosion additives. Its core characteristics perfectly match the demanding usage requirements of our customers. First, regarding temperature compatibility, its applicable temperature range is -25℃ to 260℃. It can easily withstand long-term operating temperatures above 100℃ and even handle instantaneous extreme high temperatures of 220℃. Moreover, it maintains stable viscosity-temperature properties at high temperatures, without hardening, deterioration, carbon buildup, deposits, or smoke pollution. Its low-temperature performance is also reliable, ensuring stable performance during startup at -40℃ and helping to control the starting current within a reasonable range.

For customers whose bearings need to withstand heavy loads, this grease also excels in high-temperature load-bearing capacity. Its critical load at 175℃ reaches 120KG, easily withstanding a load pressure of 2000N. Even under mechanical pressure, it will not decompose, exhibiting excellent rolling stability. Furthermore, it is chemically stable and compatible with metals and plastics. It will not react with any metal at temperatures not exceeding 206°C, making it suitable for various bearing material combinations. It also boasts excellent water and chemical corrosion resistance, providing stable lubrication even in complex working environments. More importantly, its long service life reduces equipment downtime for maintenance, perfectly meeting OEMs' dual requirements for product reliability and cost-effectiveness.
