YBS-AR 555 is a white, homogeneous long-termgrease based on a perfluorinated polyether oil (PFPE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) is a synthetic polymer that is liquid at room temperature and is composed of carbon, fluorine, and oxygen atoms. Its main chain contains flexible ether bonds, and fluorine atoms replace hydrogen atoms to form strong C-F bonds, which give it high thermal stability (up to 300°C), chemical inertness, low volatility, and a wide liquid temperature range (-60-300°C).
All its technical details are investigated to make sure the right quality of the product.
Benefits for Application
● For use at high operating temperatures up to 250 °C
● For applications exposed to aggressive media

Behaviour towards elastomers and plastics: Lubricants based on perfluorinated polyether oils andpolytetrafluoroethylene are generally regarded as neutraltowards most elastomers and plastics(exception: perfluorinated rubber).
Nevertheless we recommend testing compatibility with thematerial to be used, especially prior to series application.
