YBS-1902 Perfluoropolyether grease is a high-viscosity, long-life grease made from highly chemically stable perfluoropolyether oil (PFPE) as the base oil, thickened with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder, and refined with special anti-corrosion additives.

Fluorogrease is specifically developed for machinery with high maintenance costs or requiring continuous operation. It is a highly efficient, long-life, safe, reliable, and high-performance grease suitable for use under abnormal operating conditions.

    Performance characteristics

    Chemical stability

    It is not affected or corroded by boiling sulfuric acid, fuming nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, strong oxidants, water, water vapor, or molten caustic alkali.

    Thermal stability

    Good viscosity-temperature properties, applicable temperature range is -10 ℃ ~ 300 ℃ (measurable temperature), can maintain long-term thermal stability at high temperature of 300℃, without hardening or deterioration, and does not undergo chemical decomposition, carbonization or deposits below 300 ℃.

    Resin and metal compatibility

    Chemically stable, does not react with any metals at temperatures not exceeding 350 °C, and is compatible with plastics.

    Oxygen resistance

    It has an extremely strong tolerance to both liquid and gaseous states.

    Non-flammable

    It has no flash point, no spontaneous combustion point, and does not react with oxygen (it does not spontaneously combust even in 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen).

    Radiation stability

    It has excellent radiation stability and has passed the UF6 test.

    Stability with Lewis acid

    It is very stable with Lewis acid, especially in the semiconductor industry.

    High-temperature load capacity

    Superior lubrication performance under extreme temperatures. critical load capacity up to 120KG at 175℃.

    Low temperature performance

    Excellent low temperature characteristics and viscosity-temperature properties.

    Lubrication performance

    It has low surface tension and can effectively lubricate the surfaces of friction pairs.

    Electrical properties

    Good dielectric properties, good insulation properties, dielectric constant of 2.1-2.3, and breakdown voltage up to 30 kV.

    Compatibility

    Good compatibility with plastics, rubber, and other materials.

    Evaporation performance

    It has low evaporation loss performance.

    Water resistance

    After being soaked in water at 25℃-50℃ for 3 hours, there was no change. After being soaked in water at 25℃ for 5 months, there was no change in weight or state, demonstrating excellent water resistance.

    Solubility

    Hydrocarbons, water, steam, chemical solvents, acids and bases do not dissolve.

    Mechanical stability

    It does not decompose under mechanical pressure, maintains a stable state with lubricating oil, and has good rolling stability.

If used in high-speed applications, the grease may cause the base oil to be lost due to shearing action, which may lead to the loss of lubricating oil in the sealed bearing.

    Operating Precautions
    These greases are compatible with other PFPE/PTFE greases, but PFPE greases should not be mixed with other types of lubricating greases.
    Perfluoropolyether grease is suitable for use in long-term high-temperature environments, but it still requires regular lubrication, approximately every 1-3 months. The amount added can be adjusted according to the lubrication interval.

    How To Use
    Preparing the parts for application: New parts are typically treated with organic rust-preventive oil or lubricated with grease during storage to prevent damage . Before use , new bearings should be inspected for damage and imperfections.
    Cleaning before use : Corrosion-resistant coatings and rust-proof metal surfaces prevent grease adhesion, which can cause grease to be ejected during bearing operation. These coatings can also oxidize and harden , producing debris that can contaminate the grease. The final cleaning of the components must be done thoroughly using a lubricant compatible with the Oil-Protective series of perfluoropolyether greases to clean the grease or corrosion-resistant oil. Failure to do so may result in a shortened bearing life.
