YBS-GL 261 is a specialty grease designed for operating conditions involving boundary friction, vibration, and micro-oscillatory movements. Formulated with a special lithium soap and proprietary MICROLUBE additives, it minimizes run-in wear and prevents failure caused by fretting corrosion. With a softer NLGI 1 consistency, it offers superior low-temperature performance compared to GL262, maintaining good flowability even at -30°C. It provides excellent extreme-pressure load-carrying capacity as well as rust and corrosion protection. Additionally, it features good pumpability and is suitable for both manual application and centralized automatic lubrication systems. It is widely used on components prone to fretting corrosion—such as low-to-medium speed rolling/sliding bearings, splined shafts, linear guides, and adjustment pinions—and holds numerous industrial OEM certifications; it helps reduce equipment downtime caused by fretting corrosion and extends component service life.
