    In the high-temperature battlefield of industrial equipment, the performance of lubricating materials directly determines the "life and death" of the equipment. The operating temperature of traditional mineral greases and synthetic greases is firmly limited to the range of 150℃-200℃. Once the critical temperature is exceeded, rapid decomposition and evaporation will not only shorten the lubrication cycle, but may also cause fatal failures such as bearing jamming and component damage. In modern industrial testing, every test data point is crucial to product reliability and safety. When a 7005 bearing in a piece of bearing testing equipment worth $500,000 is required to operate continuously for hundreds of hours at ultra-high speeds of 15,000 rpm and temperatures of 350°C, conventional greases often struggle. Bearing testing equipment places extremely stringent demands on lubricants. At 15,000 rpm, the 7005 bearing generates extremely high shear rates and centrifugal forces between the rolling elements and raceways. The operating temperature of 350°C far exceeds the tolerance of fluoropolymer grease. Hundreds of hours of continuous operation require the grease to possess exceptional durability and stability. Any lubrication failure can lead to skewed test data and even damage testing equipment worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. At Jialede Fluorochemical Lubricants, we are always customer-oriented. On July 22, 2024, Mr. Li from an automotive parts manufacturing technology company inquired about the suitability of DuPont GPL-205K perfluoropolyether grease for automotive contact grease and conductive grease. We confirmed its suitability for automotive applications and recommended Jialede's Youbangshou brand, YBS-205 perfluoropolyether grease, offering stable performance at a price over 60% lower than international brands.

On August 8, Mr. Li explicitly requested an alternative to GPL-205 and provided detailed testing requirements, including: room temperature resistance comparison, 48-hour delamination test at 160°C, 144-hour resistance test under thermal cycling conditions of -40°C to 150°C, 144-hour mechanical endurance test, and verification of EGR valve minimum duty cycle and sensor voltage deviation at different temperatures. Engineer Li explained that the company specializes in EGR valves, with an annual production capacity exceeding one million units. The grease is primarily used for valve stems with a diameter of 4mm and a length of 40mm.

In response to this request, we promised to send a 50g sample of YBS-205 and the accompanying solvent, explaining that a 10%-20% performance degradation during thermal cycling testing would be considered unqualified. Engineer Li subsequently engaged in in-depth discussion regarding the impact of low-temperature mechanical motion on the grease, and we provided professional answers.


On September 8th, Engineer Li reported that the YBS-205 perfluoropolyether grease had successfully passed all tests and would enter the procurement process for a quantity of one million units. He emphasized the importance of ensuring quality during the order. We solemnly pledged that YBS-205 is a mature product, strictly adhering to the IATF 16949 quality management system. All batches undergo comprehensive testing before shipment to ensure they meet the high standards of the automotive industry. In fluorochemical and specialty gas industries, media containing hydrogen fluoride (HF) place extremely high demands on sealing and lubrication materials. Recently, a customer entered our store through a silicone sealing grease product link and directly asked whether we could supply YBS-1768, a PFPE-based sealing grease, for a valve application.


The customer explained that the valve medium was HF-containing gas, operating at 50–65°C, with EPDM gaskets. Such conditions require outstanding chemical inertness, corrosion resistance, and elastomer compatibility.


As a professional manufacturer of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricants, Jialede promptly evaluated the operating conditions. We informed the customer that YBS-1768, a PFPE-based sealing grease, offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical gases. At the same time, we highlighted YBS-1672, which has proven long-term performance in hydrogen fluoride environments, maintaining stability without degradation.


After further technical discussion regarding valve design, sealing structure, and maintenance intervals, we recommended a high-purity PFPE grease solution to ensure maximum service life and system safety. Ultimately, the customer fully recognized Jialede’s expertise in HF-resistant lubrication solutions and placed an order for 10 kg of PFPE grease for critical valve equipment.
