YBSFluorinated Oil Helps Protect Surfaces of Scientific Instruments

Recently, Jialede received an inquiry from Ms. Zhao, a Shanghai-based instrument technology development company. She specifically requested a perfluoropolyether oil with a kinematic viscosity of approximately 1000 cSt to wipe the exterior surfaces of metal chambers before microwave digestion experiments to protect the instrument and improve experimental stability.

During the conversation, we learned that the client had previously considered Solvay Fluorolink M100 and had a clear preference for this viscosity grade. She emphasized that fluorocarbon oil does not directly participate in the digestion reaction; rather, it acts as a lubricant and protective coating before the experiment, preventing wear and residual contamination on metal jaws and other surfaces during high-frequency experiments.

Jialede responded promptly to this request. We not only identified a perfluoropolyether oil model within our existing product portfolio that met the client's requirements, but also recommended a solution more suitable for their application. The client had previously purchased a 500g sample of Jialede YBS-1106 on September 23rd and was very impressed with our product's performance. This time, in response to the customer's desire for a small-batch trial, we provided a 500ml sample of fluoro oil to ensure they could conduct verification under real-world operating conditions.
