Perfluoropolyether grease is a white perfluoropolyether grease made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thickened with highly chemically stable perfluoropolyether oil (PFPE) and refined with special anti-corrosion additives. In fluorochemical and specialty gas industries, media containing hydrogen fluoride (HF) place extremely high demands on sealing and lubrication materials. Recently, a customer entered our store through a silicone sealing grease product link and directly asked whether we could supply YBS-1768, a PFPE-based sealing grease, for a valve application.


The customer explained that the valve medium was HF-containing gas, operating at 50–65°C, with EPDM gaskets. Such conditions require outstanding chemical inertness, corrosion resistance, and elastomer compatibility.
